The day promises to be a fun day out for both you and your beloved pooch with exciting events, great stalls and interesting scent work demonstrations. Starting the morning with a Puppies and Nosework workshop. If you have a puppy under 9 months old that has had their 3rd vaccination, bring them along to see how to start their gentle journey into the world of scent detection. This will be followed by some exciting demos. In the same search area, you’ll get to see how an Intermediate dog sources odour to find a hide, compared to how an advanced dog does it to find the same hide. At noon there will be a special guest speaker and demo. The day rounds off with a fun Sniffari for all! Here dogs will be given the opportunity to use their nose to find some tasty, hidden treats (for inexperienced dogs) or actual nosework hides for dogs familiar with the sport. Fees: CNASA members can enter all events for free. Places are strictly limited. Non-CNASA members pay R50 for Puppy workshop, R100 for Sniffari.
